What is covered
Our labor - 1 year
For one year from the delivery date, if a PC we built stops working because of how we assembled it, or a part fails and needs to be swapped, we diagnose the problem and do the replacement labor for free, at your home within our service area. That includes the trip, the diagnosis, removing the failed part, installing the replacement, and re-testing.
Parts - the manufacturer's warranty
Every part is new and carries its maker's warranty, usually 1 to 5 years (graphics cards are often 2 to 3 years, power supplies up to 10). We register parts where the maker allows it and give you the list. During our 1-year labor period, we handle the warranty claim with the manufacturer for you, including shipping the part. After that, we can still help with claims for a labor fee quoted up front.
If a part is dead on arrival or fails during our testing, we replace it before delivery at no cost to you.
What is not covered
- Damage from drops, liquid, power surges, pets, or opening the PC and changing parts yourself (opening it to clean dust is fine)
- Parts you supplied - those are covered by their makers, and our labor on them is covered only for our own workmanship
- Software problems, viruses, lost data, game or account issues (we can help with these as a paid service)
- Normal wear such as fan noise growing over the years, and cosmetic scratches after delivery
- Overclocking beyond the settings we delivered
How to make a claim
- Email hello@framefoundrypc.com with your order number and what is happening (a phone video helps).
- We reply within one business day and try remote troubleshooting first.
- If hardware is the problem, we book a visit. We aim to get you running within a few days of the replacement part arriving.
Back up anything important before a repair. We take care with your data but cannot be responsible for it.
